The river Indalsäven, which flows through the district of Timrå, is one of the county´s big salmon rivers. Here the public have the opportunity to grapple with the king of the rivers, as well as other sea-migrating species. The Ljusttorpsåns water system not only has sea trout and grayling fishing but also offers the possibility to fish in lakes that contain char, brown trout, northern pike, and perch.
The district is easy to reach from the airport, located at the mouth of the river Indalsäven, with the E4 highway passing through the same area.
