Ånge is Medelpad´s most westerley district and contains the exact geographical middle point of Sweden. It also covers the central part of Ljungans water system. The beautiful Ljungandalen valley consists of many fishing areas that can offer all types of fishing, except fishing for sea-migrating species.
Fishing by boat for northern pike and brown trout is possible in the larger lakes of the area. Lake Ljungans upper streams can offer the opportunity for some great fly- fishing for grayling and brown trout. Here you can fish in a wild, natural setting, or in waters with facilities for families and fishermen travelling by car.
