Örnsköldsvik is the largest municipality in the county and can therefore offer the most fishing opportunities. Three forest rivers and a large number of streams and brooks run through the area. In the smaller streams there are sea migrating sea trout and lavaret, whilst the rivers also contain salmon.
Further inland there are a number of streams that in some places are wild and remote, where hardly any fishing has ever been done. This means that there is a good chance of experiencing some great fishing in an unspoilt environment.
